Department:  West Ohio Family Physicians Status:  Full-Time
Shift: Primarily 1st shift Hours/Payroll: 72 hrs/pay Available:  Immediately
Qualifications/Comments: Needs to be a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio that is able to multitask and enjoys working with people. Duties: Escorts/assists patients to rooms. Takes and records patient vitals. Prepares patient for and assists with exams. Uses Electronic Health Record software. Performs clerical duties and answer telephone calls. Previous physician office experience requires.

Account Specialist/Registrar

Qualifications/Comments: The third shift Account Specialist/Registrar is both the Registrar and Switchboard Operator for the hospital. This person is responsible for the main communication center in addition to receiving and registering patients. The candidate must have exceptional communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Switchboard duties include, but are not limited to, the ability to operate a multiline phone, monitor all alarms and codes. The Registration duties include, but are not limited to establishing the patient visit record to begin the revenue cycle process for the hospital by obtaining demographic, physician, diagnosis and verifying active insurance coverage, while abiding by all government regulations as well as collecting patient co-pays for services. Previous registration and switchboard experience desired, medical terminology required.

Previous registration experience desired, medical terminology required.
Revenue Cycle / Compliance Coordinator
Department:  West Ohio Administration Status:  Full-Time
Shift: Primarily 1st shift Hours/Payroll: 80 hrs/pay Available:  Immediately
Qualifications/Comments: Applicant will work with management and staff to establish the most effective workflow for each task in the revenue cycle and update policies as necessary. Applicant will also monitor and coordinate compliance activities to assure that the practices are complaint. Applicant must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare related field; or at least 5 years experience in medical practice revenue cycle; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must maintain a good working relationship with managers and administrative support staff. Must be familiar with federal and state regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
